Current Sermon Series: Isight's Vision... We've launched into an 4 part series illustrating Isight's vision and mission: For God's glory to be manifested in and through the Body, in the city, and among the nations...
Connect with Us Someone once said "there's no such thing as a solitary Christian."  God calls a people, plural, which means when we follow Christ we follow Him both individually and corporately.  Isight gets together in small and large groups, aside of course from our large weekly gathering for worship.  Click the link to read more.
Transition Meeting for Congregation, Oct. 2 Isight Church is meeting Oct. 2 after worship to discuss next steps in its life as we look forward to and discern together what God has for us in our next chapter together.  Josh and Jessi this past week announced that they are receiving a call to another EPC church, in Southern Illinois.  They love Isight and are confident that God has great plans in store for her.  Specifically it has been proposed that Anthony Rodriguez be nominated to step into the Lead/Organizing Pastor's role.  We will discuss this proposition and other related matters at the meeting.  Please continue to pray and ask both questions of myelf, Anthony, and other leaders at Isight.

Babies and Meals!  Hey Hey!  Jason and Elodie Covert welcomed little Micah Day, 8lbs., 6oz., 21" into the world Monday.  They'll be soon in need of meals and care.  Click here to sign up and bless them with a meal: http://www.TakeThemAMeal.com   Enter covert  for recipient last name, and micah for password; it is not case sensitive.  Thank you Isight for stepping up so faithfully in this way.

Pastor Joshua Schatzle and family departing; welcome Anthony Rodriguez!  As was announced last month, Jessi and I and the family have accepted a call to pastor Hope Church in Southern Illinois, and are scheduled to arrive there first week of November.  Anthony Rodriguez, who has served Isight faithfully for many years in various roles, has eagerly accepted the congregation's call to assume the pastoral role, and he is now beginning the ordination process with the Presbytery Mid-Atlantic.

We have sincerely enjoyed serving you these past 4 1/2 years and have been the recipients of so much grace on your part.  Thank you all for your loving support and encouragement.  We look forward to hearing great things from Isight church and we will certainly work hard to maintain the many treasured friendships that we've had the pleasure of taking part in.  God is certainly good; too good for words.  And He's been good to us.  We wish all His blessings on you and yours, and we wish God's speed to Anthony and the continuing leadership team at Isight as you all together take the next steps in pursuing all that God has for the church.

Blessings and Thanks,

Joshua Schatzle, Rev. [on behalf of Jessi, Davis, and Jo]
